Information for interested bowlers

• This tournament features four divisions:

  • Youth/Parent

  • Teen/Parent

  • Youth/Adult

  • Teen/Adult

  A parent can be a mother, father, step-father,  step-mother, grandfather or grandmother. Any other relative would be classified as an "adult" rather than a "parent."

• $5,300 in scholarships will be awarded at the 2009 State Finals (at Winona Bowl in Winona).

• The State champions AND State runners-up (four teams total) in the youth/parent and teen/parent divisions will win trips to the International Finals in Grapevine, Texas (July 30 - August 1, 2009).

• Teams pay $36.00 to bowl at the house-level.

  $18.00 goes to the bowling center to pay for linage. $18.00 is a tournament participation fee that helps the BPAM recoup the money it spent to buy the four trips to the International Finals. The tournament participation fee also helps pay the salary of BPAM employees who administer the tournament, the cost to print the tournament entry forms, as well as the cost of postage and shipping.

• Teams that qualify for the State Finals pay $18.00 to cover the cost of linage at the State Finals.

• Team handicap is 100% of 440.

BPAM member centers

• House-level qualifiers can be run as often as you like, whenever you like, anytime from October 31, 2008 through April 5, 2009. Run one qualifying block that lasts for several months or run a new qualifying block every week. It's your choice!

• You earn $18.00 in lineage for each team that competes at the house level.

• This tournament helps to promote family bowling and realize the value or potential of establishing youth/adult leagues within your bowling center

• 2' x 3' promotional posters are available free of charge.

• Josh at the BPAM would be happy to customize up to 100 promotional flyers for your bowling center to help you advertise the tournament to your bowlers.

•  If you have youth / adult leagues, this tournament will be easy to gain participation.
